The T600 series of Hot Cold Plates are cooled using liquid nitrogen (LN2) or liquid carbon dioxide (LCO2) and utilize a thermal plate with a separate temperature controller. They have the most standard and optional features available of all the T series thermal platform systems and offer the traditional form factor of a stand alone thermal plate with a remotely located temperature controller.


The T650 series of Hot Cold Plates are cooled using liquid nitrogen (LN2) or liquid carbon dioxide (LCO2) and utilize an integrated temperature controller. With the lowest initial cost, the T650 thermal platform offers the most value.


The T700 series thermal platform systems combine the excellent component accessibility of the T600 with the value and compactness of the integrated temperature controller of the T650 series. 3 Temperature controller options are available. Be sure it inquire.


MRTP — Mechanically Refrigerated Thermal Platforms

The MRTP (Mechanically Refrigerated Thermal Platform) closed loop system is cooled by a single stage or cascade refrigeration system. No liquid nitrogen (LN2) or liquid carbon dioxide (LCO2) is required for MRTP thermal platforms.

Mechanically Refrigerated Thermal Platform Systems
Model MRTP

The MRTP thermal platform systems rely upon a
closed loop mechanical refrigeration cooling system.
This eliminates the need for expendable refrigerants such
as liquid nitrogen and liquid carbon dioxide. Eliminating
the non-reusable refrigerants also eliminates the purchasing
cost and handling expenses, not to mention the associated
icing and water condensation.

The MRTP utilizes an efficient mechanical refrigeration system
that re-circulates the refrigerant in a closed loop system.
Only environmentally friendly zero-ozone depleting refrigerants
are used. Proprietary design features provide fast ramp rates
with efficient heat removal. The system is portable and a single
AC outlet is all that is needed to operate it. The system normally
uses an air-cooled condenser, which rejects a certain amount of
heat into the room. If a water cooling source is available, the
system can operate with a water-cooled condenser. If many
systems will operate in the same room a water cooling circuit
should be considered to remove the heat rejected by the
refrigeration cycle.

The T700-Series uses liquid nitrogen (LN2) or liquid
carbon dioxide (LCO2) cooled thermal platforms.
They utilize a premium integrated temperature controller
similar to the T650 but with more standard features
and offers a more traditional thermal plate form factor shape.

The T700 series of thermal platform systems feature the
PM6 temperature controller. The PM6 comes with everything
you need for state of the art thermal plate control. The only
option you may need is the GPIB-488 or the Ethernet/IP
Modbus TCP remote interface.

The PM6 comes standard with the following features:

Large easy to read dual display showing both
the current temperature and current set point
Programmable ramp to set point
Standard bus protocol EIA-485 serial communications
for use with the free Configurator software interface program.
Programmable ramp & soak profiling. Up to 4 profiles with
a total of 40 steps

All stainless steel chassis and with a powerful
integrated temperature controller. The T650
can be ordered with the standard or optional
premium temperature controller. The standard
